A NEW BEGINNING...

1: DAWN OF A NEW ERA...

Thanks for checking out my blog but yeah, let’s get straight to it; the title of this post was inspired by the importance of new beginnings (this post itself symbolising a new beginning and all)... So yeah, just as the heart of every newborn who took their first breath whilst you were reading the previous sentence knows... The dawn of a new era truly is upon us. To be honest, the moment that our eyes open up after a (hopefully growth-inspiring dream-filled) period of sleep is, similarly, yet another kind of new beginning (such is the present’s “gift that keeps on giving”-rooted nature;) Hence, it is our duty as relatively ‘gifted/intelligent’ beings to make the most of the recurring opportunity that is every new day that we are fortunate enough to see, because you NEVER know when your “time will be up” and, as many agree, when our ‘physical’ lives reach their conclusion “it is better to regret the things that you did, rather than the things that you didn’t do”... and on that note, we’re existentially obligated to serve our hearts [‘souls’] to the best of our ability (by working to fulfil our potential and manifest our desires as nobly and respectfully to our universe/planetary siblings as possible) if, nothing else, just to justify our existence [at the very least].

Back to this post’s title, though (a.k.a where the journey [PROPERLY] begins - my musical journey, that is... the one where I’m about to start working as a professional musician [hence this post’s title]). Basically, this “Dawn of a New Era” will take place when I finally finish the following tasks that I’m currently working on;

1. Producing/writing 11-13 tracks for my first album.

2. Organising national tours for both my first album and its singles.

3. Updating my website/social networks.

4. Sorting out some final “boring business stuff” (which HAS to be done before I start releasing/touring around Autumn [watch this space...]).

... Now, the above list means a LOT of work - hence the amount of time that it’s taken for me to get to even this point (where I am, at last, so focused on making my vision [DMR] a reality that I now live with never-ending [creative] tunnel vision, the light at the end of this rhetorical tunnel now being visible in the form of the ‘Dawn’ mentioned in this post’s title [i.e. the one that gets ever closer with each passing day])... but there is a VERY good reason for me wanting/needing to get all of these things out of the way NOW; I’m pretty much doing everything that relates to DMR at present before drafting my team in, so when the above tasks are all out of the way I’ll be able to [consistently] focus PURELY on creating/touring/promoting when all of that starts around Autumn (i.e. sorry for the wait but it WILL be worth it, family... ;)

There IS another reason for this post’s title though - the importance of NOW... Basically, we’re the last generation to experience a life with at least SOME personal freedom/privacy, i.e. all the MORE reason the be grateful for our being alive in the HERE and NOW (i.e. all the more reason to NOT dwell on the past, and all the more reason to NOT worry about what the future holds but instead focus on using our energies as effectively as possible in THE PRESENT). That being said though, to maximise contentment (thereby minimising discontentment), we must first and foremost accept that things we ‘want out of life’ might NEVER come to us (thereby allowing the weight of our [presumptuous] hopes/expectations/ambitions/’dreams’ to depart from our shoulders, so that we can finally ascend along our lifelines towards the eventual conclusion of our ‘lifetimes’ as humbly as possible)...

BTW, for anyone wondering where this blog’s name came from... it’s just a term that I came up with, one that means a LOT to me in my journey through this adventure/experience called ‘life’... Basically, in the greater scheme of things, “living in the moment” (a.k.a “living for NOW”) is VERY importance to me because ANY moment/day that I see could eventually turn out to be my last so, seen as nothing is guaranteed in terms of my [eventual] “lifespan (amongst SO many other things{“,) the ONLY future that I can afford to care about is the moment that IMMEDIATELY follows the CURRENT moment in my life... as surely as the moment that PRECEDED the current moment in my life is just the newest addition to those that constitute the past (a.k.a “the past that shouldn’t be dwelled upon”, considering the infinite value of the PRESENT moment)...  

These points serve as a continuous reminder to control how we focus our energy/attention (and spend our [life]time as a result), thereby maximising the personal value/benefit of HOW we spend our time (and eventually maximising the inner peace/contentment that we derive from our lives overall). This is one way of fulfilling our potential as beings in terms of what we can learn/gain from life as it runs its course (and also what we can contribute to our planetary family/universe as a result)...

So, ‘W2TF’ (i.e. the future that is THIS MOMENT [i.e. one that I’d MUCH rather live within than the future that [e.g.] our great-great-great-great-grandchildren will...]) means “Live for NOW!!!” (but the true significance of this blog’s name will be revealed when my next single is finally unleashed upon the world;) ANYway, this blog = my ‘Official (i.e. “PROPER“) Blog’, my ‘Personal Blog’ = www.DangerMoneyRecords.tumblr.com and my ‘Micro Blog’ = www.Twitter.com/P_C_T so yeah; THIS blog = my deepest/most personal/news-rich one (as you saw at the start of this post) and the most EXCLUSIVE content-rich one... (Oh yeah, there might also be the occasional mention of epiphanies/revelations along the way [so this blog will also be a continually-evolving personal reminder to self about life lessons learned];)
